DescriptionThis is a small complex of Four one bedroom and Four two bedroom self contained apartments with a shared pool facility.It is located on the Funchal Ridge midway between the town of Lagos and Luz, a distnce of 3 kms. The units are completely self contained and a one bedroom apartment consists of a living and dinning area, bedroom and a bathroom. One of the four one bedroom apartments has an en-suite bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipted with Fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven & Hob unit and all the other appliances necessary for those who wish to dine at home. This is an an excellent base for exploring the western Algarve. Lagos is a lively, colourful town, as yet relatively unspoilt. It has a long history of association with the "discoverers", the fishing industry and still retains some excellent examples of the fortifications of this important trading post. The streets are cobbled and narrow in the old town and there are many little shops to browse. The new waterfront promenade and marina offer a pleasant stroll and stop for a drink. From the bus or rail stations there are good links up and down the Algarve, or further afield to Lisbon or Spain. Beach's are extensive starting with Meia Praia, Praia da Ana and many more small and exciting coves. NotesLuz is the most popular resort in the western Algarve and has much to recommend it.It is quiet but has plenty to keep one occupied and is within easy reach of many attractions. It has a long, curved, sandy beach suitable for families. There are plenty of bars and restaurants, shops, cinema, banks and post office. Nearby is the Boavista golf course, Parque da Floresta and Pennina Courses. Local attractions include Zoomarine and a water park.
